Nature’s Candy: 5 Minute Fruit Salad

Nature’s Candy: 5 Minute Fruit Salad

Hello friends!

Do you guys ever crave sweets and junk food? If you’re a normal human then the obvious answer is yes. Its so important to train yourself to turn to whole fresh foods when having cravings. Although its easier said than done, once you train your body and mind to want these foods, your body will start craving them over the junk! Trust me, I know from experience. I used to eat junk food ALL. THE. TIME. #collegelife… Getting out of the habit might be tough, but its totally worth it. I didn’t realize how lethargic and absent-minded junk food made me feel until I cut back and ate more whole foods. Unlike before, I now crave fresh fruit after a long run or intense workout. Its all depends on what your used to!

Okay now on to this yummy post-workout snack I made last night..

Although I love my smoothie bowls and nice cream, theres something so refreshing about fresh cut fruit. And it tastes even better on a hot summer day!

This is a great snack because its packed with nutrients and antioxidants. Instead of reaching for that junk food, make yourself a yummy fruit salad in less than 10 minutes!
