Do you ever wonder how people get their smoothie bowls to be so vibrant and colorful??

I’m about to let you guys in on a little secret which involves UNICORN SUPERFOODS. Not only do these superfoods give your foods a beautiful color, they are also beneficial to your inner and outer health. Each of their products only contain a single ingredient and are free of additives and preservatives!  So for the sake of your health, stray away from those artificial food dyes that are full of chemicals and unnatural substances, and add natural superfood powders to your food! I’ve found that these superfoods give me energy throughout the entire day.

For this bright blue smoothie bowl I used the blue spirulina powder and added a little spinach which resulted in a pretty aqua color.

Ingredients
Smoothie Base
  • 3 frozen bananas
  • 1/2 tsp blue spirulina
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
Toppings
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup organic white mulberries
Instructions
  1. In a blender or food processor combine frozen bananas, blue spirulina, spinach, and unsweetened almond milk. Blend on high, stopping periodically to stir. 

  2. Pour in bowl and add toppings.
