I find it incredibly important to start my day off with a filling and nutritious breakfast. I look at it as setting the tone for the rest of the day. If I start my day off on the right foot, then the rest of my day follows suit.
This smoothie is only 3 ingredients which makes it the perfect breakfast for when you don’t want to spend 30 minutes preparing a meal. (Tip: at the beginning of the week, measure out the frozen fruit you will need for each smoothie and put them in separate ziplock bags. Then all you have to do is toss the fruit in the blender, add almond milk, blend, & add toppings)
Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl
3 frozen bananas
2 cups frozen strawberries
A splash of vanilla almond milk (just enough for it to blend smoothly)
Add frozen fruit and almond milk to blender. Blend until smooth.
Top with raw granola, fresh strawberries, & sliced bananas.
